Golf Ball fell Race
The fourth and final race in the Mid-Week Series is the Golf Ball Fell Race, starting and finishing at Loveclough. The route begins with a sustained climb out of the valley and onto Great Hameldon, followed by exposed running across the open moorland.
Runners then drop towards the northern side of the hill before facing a second long climb back onto the higher ground. From here, the course offers wide views across Rossendale and towards Burnley.
The final section begins a fast downhill return towards Loveclough, passing close to the distinctive white “golf ball” structure that gives the race its name. The descent continues towards the finish, providing a quick and exciting end to both the race and the Mid-Week Series.

Ascent – 982 feet / 300m
