Cross Country at Rossendale Harriers
Cross country is a major part of the autumn and winter season at Rossendale Harriers, with races available for junior and senior athletes.
The club affiliates to two cross country leagues: the Lancashire Rose Cross Country League and the Mid Lancs Cross Country League. We also compete in a number of championship events throughout the season.
If you have not already confirmed that you wish to be registered, please contact Steve Duxbury and include the athlete’s age category.

Combined Lancashire Rose / Mid Lancs fixture
The Sefton Park fixture is additional and the entry fee will be confirmed.
Mid Lancs League
Combined Mid Lancs / Lancashire Rose fixture
The Sefton Park combined fixture has an additional entry fee, which will be confirmed nearer the event.

The exception is the Lancashire Cross Country Championships, where athletes enter and pay themselves. Further information will be provided nearer each event.
Which races should juniors run?
Please speak to your junior’s coach, who will advise which races are appropriate for them.
